Bearfoot

(16.5” x 18.25”)

Artist’s Private Collection

This sleepy grizzly, waking from a long winter’s nap, strolls through a high alpine meadow in early spring.

The bear is carved from Colorado brown stone hunted up on my hikes. She has black onyx eyes and black granite claws. With granite composite, obsidian, and rock mountains dusted with crushed white agate and marble snow piled high in the crevasses, she saunters down to the meadow below in search of food.

Crushed serpentine, tiger eye, and green jade make up the muddier high mountain landscape. While a few persistent green granite trees grow amid the rocky landscape that drops down into a meadow of aventurine, and peridot. A couple of petrified wood logs complete the scene. Rustic resin tiles frame the work.

This piece is loaded with protective, grounding, and balancing energies that harmonize nicely with the abundance, happiness and prosperity of the green gems.

*Price includes delivery in Colorado, sales tax & personalized letter detailing the exact stones/semi-precious stones/crystals used in each specific piece and listing some of their energetic properties.
